A Message From Our Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron
Dear Sisters, Brothers and Friends,
We are honored to be serving as your elected leaders of Illinois for the Eastern Star year of 2024. Since the end of the COVID pandemic, we have seen an exciting resurgence in the Order. Working together, we can continue these gains, adding strength to strength in building our Star! In order to achieve this goal, it will be important that our Chapters continue to be active and visible in our local communities. When your friends and neighbors see the great work being done by the Order of the Eastern Star, we hope that they will want to join our efforts and enjoy the fellowship we share!
Joined by our Grand Family, the Soaring Angels of 2024, we look forward to seeing you at the Receptions, Holiday Parties, Special Events and Official Visits throughout the coming year.

Grand Chapter Initiatives for 2024
OES Focus Charities
A main emphasis of our activities this year will be on promoting the growth of our OES Focus Charities. These are:
- The Endowment Trust Fund supporting the Eastern Star Home
- The Eastern Star Home Fund
- The Educational Assistance Fund and the Education Trust Fund
- The Administrative Fund supporting the ongoing operations of the Grand Chapter of Illinois.
The Eastern Star Home at Macon
The Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois operates a nursing and life care facility for any qualifying person or married couple. Applicants who are members of the Eastern Star shall have priority for admission. The facility is licensed by the State of Illinois for 64 residents. Click here
